A Sunday in autumn is a great time to go to Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens. We have been fortunate enough to have another weekend of good weather, although it is definitely starting to feel autumnal. The flowers are fading as winter approaches but there are still masses of beautiful shapes and forms to be seen in the gardens. The echinacea are bright and joyful as they initially greet you at the top of the garden. With the robin by my side, I took my time with some of the petal shapes and need a bit more time to finish the detail of the conical centre. The echinacea has a strong overall shape but it is refreshing to see the flow of the petals when viewed in profile. The fresh air and inspiration has certainly made me feel better!
